Happy Friday ladies! Just a couple of reminder
RHODES RELAY FOR LIFE TONIGHT AT 7PM!
Our Rhodes girls are participating in the Relay for Life tonight on campus from 7pm until! They would love for you to stop by and give support/donate/etc... They will have someone walking at all times but will also have other activities going on as well! Here is the link for more info:

These girls came out to support the "Give Thanks Walk" this fall so it would be great for them to see the same support for their event!

CIRCLE DEGREE THIS MONDAY NIGHT!
Please join us as the Rhodes DDD's officially become alumni! The Circle Degree ceremony will be this Monday, the 23rd at 7pm at the house. It will only take a few minutes and it would mean a lot to have current alumni to welcome the girls into our group! Please contact Lauren Hulett at Lauren108LP@aol.com if you can attend, or just be there at 7pm. There will be refreshments following.

Memphis Alumnae Make Trip To MSU For Reunion Weekend!

This year is the Beta Mu chapter at Mississippi States' 40th birthday, and a few Memphis area alums made the trip down to celebrate for a reunion weekend! It was a great time and over 150 alumni attended! A few pics from the weekend:

The girls were SO excited about the weekend and were more than welcoming to all of the women that made the trip. They sang rush songs and welcomed us into their rooms!
They will need help with recruitment this Fall, and if you would like to contribute in any way, please do so! There are dozens of Beta Mu alums in the Memphis area as well as quite a few actives from the Memphis area, and the girls would welcome your support!
Side note: This weekend was their Swingin For St. Jude philanthropy weekend, where they raised around $50,000!

First Book Club Meeting of 2012

If you like to read and discuss new books or if you like a fun and casual week-day lunch, please join the Tri Delta book club Tuesday, January 17th at Amerigo at 11:30! This is the first meeting of the new year, and the book being discussed is "The Day I Ate Whatever I Wanted" by author Elizabeth Berg.
This meeting will also be the time when future books and meeting times will be decided, so if you would like to have some input in those decisions, please join them!
The group is very casual and even if you haven't finished (or started) the book, they would love to have you!
The remainder of the book club dates will be posted under the book club tab once they are decided.

St. Jude Carousel of Hope

Sunday night some of our alumni got together to help with the St. Jude Carousel of Hope at Wolfchase mall! This event gave the kids of St. Jude a chance to come to the mall and ride the carousel, meet Santa, do some craft projects, and participate in lots of other fun activities! This was great for both the kids and the parents, and they all seemed to have a wonderful time!
Thank you to Brooks Magee for getting the group together for this rewarding event!!

St. Jude Give Thanks Walk

Our alumni chapter along with some of the girls from the Rhodes DDD chapter participated in the first annual Give Thanks Walk to benefit St. Jude! It was held November 19 at the Carriage Crossing Mall in Collierville, TN. We had a great time and can't wait to participate next year. If you didn't get a chance to participate, put it on your agenda for 2012! It was a great event!

St. Jude Give Thanks Walk

If you haven't already, please take a second to sign up to be a part of our team for the St. Jude Give Thanks Walk which will take place in Collierville on Saturday, November 19! Sign up is easy. Click HERE for the link to our team's page. If you cannot walk with us, please think about sponsoring our team. Any amount will help! We are currently at $675 of our $1500 goal!! Our alumni officers recently met to discuss the upcoming walk, and are very excited about being involved in this first-ever event! Here are a few pictures of us taking a look at our new hats and brainstorming on ways to get everyone involved in the walk!

We also have officer teams that will be visiting Tri Delta chapters at several college campuses in the surrounding areas. One group visited with the Rhodes chapter this week and  we are very excited to get them involved in the walk as well! Here are some pictures from their visit!

Book Club Meeting This Tuesday!

Please note that the book club will be meeting tomorrow, September 6 at 11:30 AM at P.F. Chang's in East Memphis to discuss the book "Glass Castle". Please feel free to join them for lunch and fellowship whether you have read the entire book, half the book, or haven't even started it! All are welcome and they hope to see you there!
